Hi Ana, cinnamon does cause burning sensation but when used along with yogurt it greatly diminishes it. Did you use it with yogurt? Even after using yogurt if it causes intense burning I would suggest not using the mask at all..

Tried this years with no result. Tried cinnamon water paste and it took bags away immediately but left me with redness and sores for a week. Tired again with cinnamon and yogurt with no affect. This was years ago. Just tried it again with the yogurt and couldn’t handle the burning. I have redness again. Last time it lasted a week. Here’s hoping it subsides quickly this time, although I’m not sure why it would. I am hoping to find a balance. I need enough cinnamon in the mix to remove the bags as it did before by itself but enough yogurt to prevent the redness and burning. I can’t reapply today. I must wait for the tenderness and redness to subside. I will add more yogurt and hazard another attempt after I heal.
