Aloe Vera Gel For Face | 5 Top Ways !

Aloe vera gel has been used from ancient times for skin care and here in our village, it is extensively used for treating many skin problems. We use it for treating burns, acne and all kinds of inflammation. We have plenty of aloe vera plants growing in our farm and whenever we need it, we cut a leaf, extract the fresh gel and use it for remedies.

Though we get many ready made aloe vera gel in the markets, I would suggest using fresh homemade aloe vera gel for best results. I do use store bought aloe vera gel occasionally (the ones without any added color or perfume) but only for making creams as it has longer shelf life at room temperature and it also gives perfect consistency to homemade creams.

Homemade Aloe Vera Gel For Skin Care:

To make fresh aloe vera gel, cut a leaf from the plant and then wash the leaf thoroughly to get rid of the slimy green juice. Now remove the thorns on both sides of the leaf, cut in half and scoop out the flesh. Your pure homemade aloe vera gel is ready.
